We are looking forward to starting the new school year after the hot summer. If you live within the boundaries of Hartley ISD, or have been approved as a transfer student, please register your child/children on August 6, 2019 for the 2019-2020 school year. The Hartley ISD cafeteria is the location for registration and will be open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. You will be able to visit with Becky Elliott, Principal's Secretary about any questions you may have. Spanish translators will be available also, and all grade will register on the same day.

Kindergarten graduation was May 21 in the Hartley auditorium. The class graduated 21 students to the first grade. Good luck to the young tigers!

Hartley held it annual spring band concert on May 16th. It was a nice community gathering. The auditorium was almost full.

UIL Academics at State

Hartley had 1 state champion team along with two second place teams at state this year.  Ethan Vincent was also state champion individual.   Results:  State champion calculator- Elva Soto, Jordan Smulders, Omar Perianez, and Alondra Soto.  2nd place team CIE- Alejandro Chavez, Edgar Chavira, Melissa Mize, and Kholten Ellis.  2nd place team Social Studies- Ethan Vincent, Anthony Sotelo, Kholten Ellis, and Jayda Knight.  Individual State Champion- Ethan Vincent Social Studies - Elva Soto 2nd Calculator & 5th mathematics along with Omar Perianez 5th in Calculator.

Solo and Ensemble

Mr Harris and Mrs. Morgan recently took the Band students to contest in Amarillo. The students received 23 Outstanding medals and 6 Superior medals along with 1 Excellent award.

Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Hartley has released the 2018-2019 school year Senior Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Melissa Mize is this year's Valedictorian. Jayda Knight is this year's Salutatorian. Congratulations to these deserving students.
